Universal Geneve 264

10 1/2”’ | Hand Wind | Swiss Lever | Small Seconds |

Remarks:

  • The known list of Universal serial numbers begins in 1930 with approx. 500,000, so according to the number on the movement, this movement should be much older. But that can hardly be the case, otherwise the movement would have been listed in an earlier edition of the Classification. The corresponding watch has a case number, which is perhaps the serial number? If so, the year of manufacture of the watch and the movement would be around 1939 – 40, which might still be possible
