6 3/4 x 8”’ | Hand Wind | Swiss Lever | No Seconds |

Remarks:

  • HMT (Hindustan Machine Tools) is a company founded by the Indian government in 1953 that manufactures tractors, tools and watches, among other things
  • There are two slightly different forms of the movement:
    • Variant 1:
      • Barrel visible from the dial side through cut-outs
      • The Citizen caliber number is marked under the balance wheel
    • Variant 2:
      • Barrel concealed on the dial side
      • There is no caliber number under the balance wheel

It is possible that HMT did not (re)build variant 1 itself, but purchased it directly from Citizen.
