Aureole 19''' N.

19”’ | Hand Wind | Swiss Lever | Small Seconds |

Remarks:

  • Swan-neck fine regulator
  • Maltese cross stopwork on the barrel
  • Aureole, also known as F.A.C. (Fabrique Aureole Chaux-de-Fonds?), was founded by Ph. Wolf in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1868. The Lexikon der Deutschen Uhrenindustrie assigns F.A.C. to the Frankfurt manufacturer of pocket watches Philipp Wolf. So there seems to be a connection here. In 1920, the company was renamed Aureole & Vertex
