AS 913

11 1/4 x 12 1/2”’ | Hammer-Automatic | Swiss Lever | Small Seconds |

Remarks:

  • Automatic: winding in one direction only, manual winding not possible
  • According to Hampel, the first automatic movement from AS. You can see that the movement shares a lot with the AS 1049 (e.g. balance staff and winding stem). The fact that it is really older than the AS 1049 could be determined by the cock for the oscillating weight. This is fastened with only one screw, whereas the AS 1049 has two screws that go through an additional hole in the cock.
