Hahn Model No. 4
2 views / New
19 1/2”’ | Hand Wind | Swiss Lever | No Seconds |
Remarks:
- Balance visible on the dial side -> used in pocket watches of the Honestus brand
- Movement also available with a height of 4.20 mm
- In model no. 4, the winding stem and the visible balance are in line. On November 24, 1902, Hahn registered the corresponding Model No. 2 in the Swiss Official Gazette of Commerce, in which the winding stem and balance are at a 90-degree angle
- Model no. 4 looks like a Lépine (open face) movement because of the balance wheel. However, it is actually a Savonnette (hunter) version, as the winding stem and second wheel form a 90 degree angle. However, the movement has no seconds hand. Accordingly, model no. is the Lépine version
